”I had my bridal bouquet preserved by Pressed In Time and am so happy with how they turned out. I have a beautiful shadowbox of the flowers I held with me for the entirety of my wedding day and it is such a special and tangible keepsake to have. Devon and her team did a fantastic job, and I am so glad I trusted them with such an important piece that I get to have and display for my lifetime!”

It’s not too late! We can preserve either air-dried flowers or fresh flowers in our shadow box designs.

Whether you choose to entrust us with air-dried flowers, delicately nurtured in your home, or fresh blooms brimming with vibrancy, the result is always a stunning keepsake to treasure for years to come. Air-dried bouquets exude a vintage charm with their muted hues, and their smaller size allows for intricate detailing in the final piece. These blooms can find a new life in shadowboxes and resin, capturing the essence of your special moments.

FAQs

  • We want to preserve your flowers while they are still looking their best!

Once the flowers begin to wilt and discolour they will be pressed in time that way. Additionally, once flowers begin to decay there is a higher chance they will rot or fall apart, instead of drying out properly.

We request your flowers within 1-4 days after your event. If your flowers are outside of this time frame photos will be requested to asses their condition.

We accept fresh and dried flowers on Mondays. If you need to drop off outside of this drop-off window there is a $50 fee. Please note we are not open on the weekends or Holidays.

Not in the area? No problem! We are able to accept fresh and dried flowers from customers across Canada. Follow our recommended shipping instructions carefully so that your flowers get to us in the best shape possible!

  • As soon as possible! Please consider booking to preserve your bridal bouquet at the same time you book your other wedding vendors.

We can only accept a limited number of projects per date so that we are able to give the time and care it takes to preserve your beautiful blooms. We often book up months in advance and highly recommend booking well in advance to ensure we have space to take in your flowers.

  • We receive lots of messages to preserve flowers a few days before or after a wedding. For us, there is no worse feeling than having to turn a bride away, so please consider booking in advance!

If we are able to move things around in our schedule, we may be able to help out!

Please note that we will do our best to accommodate last-minute bookings where possible, but there is a Last Minute Booking Fee of $60. This allows us to pick up/order additional supplies needed as well as schedule staff for additional support.

*Pictures of the flowers will be needed to ensure they are still in the best condition possible.

  • Yes! We can accept flowers from anywhere within Canada. We have created special shipping instructions to ensure your flowers get to us looking their best!

Unfortunately, we cannot accept flowers from outside of Canada.
Due to the nature of fresh flowers & the short window of time to work with them, unexpected delays at the border could result in your flowers dying before reaching us.

We can also mail your completed piece back to you! We offer a $38 flat fee shipping rate for anywhere in Canada.

Please note you are responsible for mailing costs.

  • Yes, flowers are a product of nature after all. Their colours change during the preservation process, and they do slowly change and fade over time.

Whites will turn yellow or beige, pinks darken and reds become a deep wine colour.

Once flowers have dried they become duller and gain a lovely vintage feel! This is why your piece of art is so dynamic- it's always evolving and changing just like you.

Pro tip: Some ways to slow this process are to ensure your piece of art is kept away from damp areas and out of direct sunlight.

  • Thick or very dense flowers such as sunflowers or peonies, for example, retain a lot of moisture which can result in moulding when pressed (flattened).

BUT they can be dried out differently to hold their natural shape and be preserved in a shadow box or in resin.

If you are unsure about what would be best for your bouquet or know you are going to have some unique flowers in them, send us a message to discuss the plan of action!

Please note that we don’t accept all white bouquet to press but can be preserved in other ways!

  • Yes, we will need your whole bouquet. The process starts by selecting only the flowers and greenery in the best condition to preserve. This is important and will affect the overall look of your finished product. By having more flowers to choose from and being selective, we are able to ensure a higher success rate of your flowers drying properly.

We will certainly try to preserve at least one of every flower and greenery in your bouquet. However, not all flowers will make it through the pressing/drying process and this is natural.

The flowers that don’t make the cut are hung to dry naturally and are included in the packaging when it comes back to you!

  • Absolutely! Don't let them keep gathering dust! We can put your air-dried flowers into a shadow box frame or resin piece.

We are often asked if we can press already dried flowers and unfortunately not. Because of how fragile dried flowers are, they would crack or shatter in the presses. It's much better to put these flowers in a shadow box to keep them safe and continue enjoying their beauty.

  • Please visit our website to send us an inquiry! To secure your spot, a completed contract and 50% deposit are required. Due to high demand, the proposed booking will expire in 48 hours if the deposit and signed contract have not been received.
