About us
BORN FROM A LIFETIME LOVE OF ART, NATURE & FAMILY TRADITIONS
Pressed In Time is a team of floral preservation artists based in Niagara, Ontario. United by a love for nature and design, we create heirloom-quality keepsakes that capture the beauty of life’s most meaningful moments.
Who are we?
A SMALL TEAM WITH A BIG LOVE FOR FLOWERS & MAKING MEMORIES
Behind every Pressed In Time creation is a team of passionate artists who truly love what they do. From our Niagara studio, we handcraft floral keepsakes that celebrate love, life, and memory - turning your flowers into lasting works of art.
We carefully select each bloom, preserving its colour and texture with artistry and precision. Using high-quality materials and a whole lot of heart, our team is proud to help people across Canada hold on to life’s most beautiful moments.
Behind the blooms
WHAT BEGAN AS CHILDHOOD AFTERNOONS SPENT PRESSING FLOWERS WITH MY NANNA…
...has since blossomed into a heartfelt business dedicated to preserving life’s most meaningful moments. I’ve always had an appreciation for art and nature. Growing up, I spent a lot of time outdoors exploring and learning about the local flora and fauna. My family used to catalogue their gardens and press flowers from their travels around the world. With the help of my grandmother and aunt, I learned to press flowers in books. When I wasn’t outside, you would find me in my “craft corner” wearing one of my Dad’s oversized dress shirts as a smock.
Fast forward to 2019, I had grown into my smock and decided to create my own wood flower press. After having so much fun, and knowing my wedding was coming up, I kept experimenting with pressing and was incredibly pleased with the results.
Today, those early moments with my family and creating my own flower presses led me to establish 'Pressed In Time,' where we make floral keepsakes for customers all across Canada.
What I find the most inspiring part of my job is all of it!! From taking in beautiful flowers to pressing and designing the final pieces, I love creating keepsakes that help people remember their special moments and loved ones. It's a privilege to be a part of such meaningful moments in people's lives.

What else do you do for work or school and how did you become a part of the team?
I have an educational background in graphic design and office administration, so I’m all about mixing creativity with organization! I’m passionate about plants, nature, and also keeping things neat and structured. I joined the team to bring my love for design and efficiency into a role where I can thrive and make an impact!
What’s the most inspiring part of your job?
What inspires me most is the chance to work hands-on with flowers and create something truly personal. Each piece tells a story, and I love being part of that memory-making process.
What’s your hidden talent? My hidden talent is my green thumb! I love growing tropical house plants and tending to my garden. Gardening has taught me to slow down, pay attention, and trust the process. I’ve found that the same mindset helps me stay focused, solve problems calmly, and bring a thoughtful approach to everything I do. It’s also a fun way I stay connected to nature and recharge my creative energy

What else do you do for work or school and how did you become a part of the team?
I went to school for fine art and art history, which gave me a strong foundation in creative expression and visual storytelling. After graduating, I naturally gravitated toward life as a freelance artist—it gave me the freedom to explore different mediums and work on projects that really spoke to me. I found my way to Pressed in Time through some amazing mutual friends and a shared passion for art and nature, it felt like such an organic fit.
What’s the most inspiring part of your job?
What I love most is seeing how each bouquet tells a different story. Every couple brings their own unique style and energy to their wedding day, and it’s so fun to see that reflected in their flowers. For memorial pieces, it’s incredibly meaningful to be trusted with something so personal.
What’s your hidden talent?Honestly, being a bit of a jack of all trades!
I love learning new skills and picking up random hobbies, whether it’s sewing, painting, wood burning, or figuring something out on the fly. I might not be an expert in everything, but I can usually find a way to make it work. It definitely keeps life interesting!

What else do you do for work or school and how did you become a part of the team?
When I'm not pressing flowers, I am making charcuterie boards at CHZ PLZ! I became a part of the team over a year ago looking for a job with a creative outlet! Pressed In Time was hiring and I took a shot and applied!
What’s the most inspiring part of your job?
The most inspiring part of my job is designing! I love being able to bring the brides vision to life! Each piece is so unique with beautiful flowers, I love creating a keepsake that they'll have forever!
What’s your hidden talent?
My hidden talent is that I love cook! I love finding new recipes online to recreate! I enjoy making meals for my family and friends!

What else do you do for work or school and how did you become a part of the team?
I’m a wedding and lifestyle photographer, and I wanted another creative outlet that could complement my photography business - at the time I was working at Starbucks and feeling very burnt out and uninspired. A few friends sent me a post that Devon, the owner of Pressed in Time, was looking for help, and I applied right away. I loved the idea of preserving florals with the same emotional storytelling I bring to photography. It felt like the perfect fit, and I’m so grateful to be part of the team.
What’s the most inspiring part of your job?
Just like photography, preserving flowers is a way of holding on to memories and moments we might otherwise forget without something tangible to look back on. Turning someone’s wedding florals into lasting art feels incredibly meaningful and it’s an honour to help keep those emotions and stories alive.
What’s your hidden talent?
My hidden talent is making people feel safe, calm, and heard.

What else do you do for work or school and how did you become a part of the team?
When I’m not pressing petals, I’m usually serving up plates and smiles at local restaurant, where I get to connect with people and share little moments of joy in their day.
My journey with Pressed in Time actually began two years ago, when I had my own wedding flowers preserved. I fell completely in love with the artistry and sentiment behind the process! When I later came across a job posting on Instagram, it felt like it was meant to be and now, I get to help others preserve their own love story.
What’s the most inspiring part of your job?
It's knowing that each bouquet holds a piece of someone’s story a moment they’ll never forget. Every time I finish a piece, I imagine the joy it will bring when they see their flowers beautifully frozen in time and that alone brings me so much fulfillment.
What’s your hidden talent?
Earning a cat’s approval faster than most people can open a treat bag. I have a natural gift for winning over feline hearts.
